Hi Stewart,

Liked your blog…anyways i’m posting a comment just to correct you that Oracle have made the MTR’s much simpler to find/look at by just logging inside metalink3 aka “My Oracle Support” and by clicking the PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS tab and choosing what product you use.

This works for sending to an ifs target but what about sending from the ifs?
Help text for NAMEFMT command says to use (1) to access the ifs but you can only use the command after logging into the target system. Then it only changes the format of the server not the client. My question is how do you change the client to use format (1)?

I know client always go for Experience people but does not mean that always experience people have such kind of ability that they are looking for ?

I use these internally to link from a SharePoint site to our time entry. There is also a “role” parameter, as seen here: http://servername:81/jde/HostedE1Servlet?OID=P550001_W550001A&User=chris&Password=chris&Environment=DV900&Role=*ALL&JdeCloseAppStacks=true&jdecloselink=http://servername:81/jde

One very useful DS Template to use is for running the BV application, and passing the UBE you want to run, and the users can choose a version:

I can’t seem to get the WSJ application to do a find when I access it using a parameterized link. Any idea why? If you get it to work, please send me the parameters you used.
