Everest Software International Releases ESI JDE Menu Gadget

The ESI JDE Menu Gadget is another innovative little piece of software from Alexander Pastuhov at Everest Software International for Oracle EnterpriseOne (E1).

Essentially, it provides a way for users to quickly and easily navigate to their most used applications using a desktop gadget or web site active X control. It uses the "parameterized URL" available in JAS installations with a Tools Release level of 8.96.E1 or newer.

This could be very handy in the areas of a business that has users that only use a very specific limited number of applications. By default the gadget can be configured to list 5 destinations. However, this can be modified in a custom build option of the gadget.

It would be interesting to see what price ESI has established for this gadget. I’m sure, like all ESI’s offerings, the price will be worth it.
